“Honestly, I don’t see anything [about the Galaxy Tab] that is weaker than the iPad”
The iPad has such a dominate hold on the tablet market it’ll be interesting to see if another player can pose a threat. Can the Galaxy Tab, Slate, or another device offer what Apple hasn’t? I believe that Apple’s upper hand comes from the vast application store it currently has.
However, Google has shown that at least there is hope of competing, when challenged the iPhone with the Droids. Offering flash has become the biggest attraction for others…no telling where these new technologies will lead…but I have a few thoughts.
1. For the tablet series – a docking station for office use. Design the all in on system to display on a larger screen, include a hard-drive, and a separate processor that takes over once dock to run demanding applications.
2. For cellular – well we pretty much have mini computers on our hips now…but the one thing that the newer devices are missing is IR. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK…think of it guys…universal remote!
