Recycling your old hard-drives

“you’ve built a nice collection of hard drives, internal or external, collecting dust in the corner…put them to good use.”

This is a question I always get when friends and family are upgrading to a newer machine. I’ve always donated older machines to the Good Will or to non-profit organizations. However, if over the years you’ve accumulated  gigs of files/photos/music, I’ve always suggested using the drive strictly for file storage (no need to fill your new machine with old files).

The following article gives several suggestions for re-purposing your old hard-drive for good use. Of the ten suggestions I’ve tried two.

Take a look… definitely good information.
